Trades Foremen, Site Staff & Apprentices

The strength of any company is in its interface with clients and it is here that we realize that our men are at the front line. They are all customer friendly and are constantly being commended by customers for their manner and commitment

Most of the larger jobs will have a working trades foreman appointed. He will be introduced to the client at the outset and will be a friendly point of contact throughout the job. Although a contracts manager or director will also be visiting site the trades foreman will be the face of Hurstway . In the past many of our clients have offered to adopt their chosen foreman!

Our site staff are house-trained, although we do have the occasional mess, and they will always be happy to discuss, or explain; what or why they are doing certain things which may be a mystery to the average householder or architect

Our plumbing and heating staff are all fully trained and regularly updated in various aspects of this rapidly technically advancing field. We are both Gas Safe and Oftec Registered

Apprenticeships are encouraged and many have passed through over the years. Some have been the son’s or relations of our existing workers and several have chosen to stay on after completing their training including one who is still here after 30 years
